Crude Oil futures started trading in New York on March 3, 1983. The first trade chart in geocentric format shows that Pluto is on the Descendant line and Sun-Neptune aspect each other at a 72-degree angle which is a unique aspect as 72 degrees is 1/5th of 360 degrees. This likely explains why older writings on financial astrology dating back over 25 years indicate that Sun-Pluto and Sun-Neptune aspects should be watched closely when trading Crude Oil futures.
In Figure 4-8, the circled timeframes are those in which a Sun-Pluto aspect occurred followed within days by a Sun-Neptune aspect. Notice the distinct volatility during these aspects that an alert trader could take advantage of.
